Kudos to all involved - what a pleasure to observe these exceptional young student-athletes compete with such intelligence and dedication. Pride and optimism, and smiles all around as our nation celebrates another "birthday".Suggestion: the delays, confusion, and strange starting sequence during section 1 of the boys 1 mile certainly created a disadvantage for these earnest athletes. The metaphorical "level playing field" goal was not acheived - particularly in the extant case -"timed" results. Track officials please work hard to prevent future transgresssions. We owe it to the kids.
