Nathan Green, a recent graduate of Borah High in Idaho and representing YMCA Team Idaho, won the boys mile championship in 4:03.30 at The Outdoor Nationals, presented by Nike, at Hayward FIeld in Eugene, Ore. Green, a Washington signee who won the Brooks PR mile in 4:01.76 the day before in Seattle, closed in 55.48 seconds to become the first Idaho male athlete to win a national title in any outdoor track race.
